Bible, Union, and Mission are our university philosophy and have received the will of pastor Pierson. Mr. Underwood, a missionary, the chairman & first president of the university, established the Pierson Memorial Association Bible Academy in Seoul in 1912. Therefore, the spirit of Pierson (Biblical education, joint missionary) is PTU's ideology.
