Department introduction
The Department of Theater and Film aims to nurture creative talents who will lead the industry in the era of global cultural and artistic contents, and nurture creators of theater and film arts who can flexibly respond to the changes of the times and grow.
The Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment, established in 2006, and the Department of Korean Language and Literature, established in 1992, were merged to establish the Department of Performance and Media Contents. We are implementing various theoretical and practical education by actively reflecting the needs and characteristics of students.

Educational Goal and Talent
The ideal talent for the Department of Theater and Film is a creative global cultural content creator in the era of cultural and artistic content. Through character education, establishment of basic theories, and systematic practice, we aim to nurture experts in film, video, and performing arts who will contribute to the development of Korean performing arts culture.
Action plan
- 1. Character education to nurture professional performing and video artists. Establishment of various theatrical and film arts such as plays, films, musicals, and video contents, and theories and foundations of popular culture.
- 2. Systematic production practice and field experience using various shooting equipment, studio, and editing room.
- 3. Support for creative activities such as regular theater festivals, workshops, film festivals, and flying moles.
- 4. Discovery and training of outstanding talents who will contribute to the development of Korean art and culture.
- 5. Collaborative performances with external theater companies through internship classes.

- 1. Film actors, theater and musical actors, comedians, MCs, show hosts, voice actors, singers, models, and more.
- 2. Film director, stage director, documentary director, PD, writer (scenario, play), production staff, performance/video planner, cinematographer, editing expert, one-person creator, etc.
