Educational purpose, goal and introduction
We aim to nurture creative, academic, and practical talents through systematic academic exploration of the Korean language and culture based on the foundational philosophy of Pyeongtaek University, “See, I am doing a new thing (Isaiah 43:19).”
The Korean language education course for foreigners is a course that nurtures experts who can teach the Korean language and culture to those who learn Korean as a foreign language or research them systematically.

- Graduates can contribute to teaching the Korean language and culture in the following places.
- Korean language teachers at domestic and foreign universities, university-affiliated institutions, and related institutions
(Upon graduation, students who have completed the designated courses will receive a second-level Korean language teacher certificate awarded by the Minister of Culture, Education, and Tourism.) - Domestic and overseas elementary, middle, and high schools where Korean language classes are offered
- Domestic and foreign government agencies that teach Korean as a foreign language
- Multicultural family support centers, foreign worker support centers, social integration program operating organizations, etc.
- Domestic/overseas King Sejong Institutes and King Sejong Classes, Korean Cultural Center, Korean Language School, Korean Education Center, etc.
