Department Vision

The School of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies provides students with opportunities to experience a wide range of academic subjects and explore their aptitudes and career paths through basic and liberal arts courses. Students can choose from existing major departments, but they can also utilize various module courses in each track of the Autonomous Major Department to construct creative majors, thereby supporting them to grow into future-oriented global talents who can independently explore academics and creatively solve problems.

Educational Goals

The School of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies provides students with the opportunity to choose from a variety of subjects so that they can experience various academic fields for one year and develop the qualities of logical, critical, and creative leaders, and so that they can choose their majors by considering their aptitude and future vision. It also helps students grow into broad convergence talents who can creatively and effectively solve problems by combining knowledge from various fields beyond the boundaries of their majors.

- 1. Department Elective Type : Select the desired major or department through the exploration process of departments and majors during the first year
- 2. Independent Department Type : Complete one of the track-type educational courses offered within the university under the School of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies without selecting a specific department

- 1. Department Elective Type : Complete the required courses offered by the School of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies and the curriculum of the department of your choice
- 2. Independent Department Type : Complete the curriculum for each track offered by the School of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies
Graduation Criteria
- 1. Department Elective Type: Obtain a degree according to the graduation regulations of the chosen department
- 2. Independent Department Type : Obtain a degree according to the graduation regulations of the Global Autonomous Major (Division of Global & Interdisciplinary Studies)
